Gluten Free Chocolate Cake
This gluten free chocolate cake recipe is a very simple (and delicious) chocolate cake that can be made for anyone who can’t eat gluten. We hope you enjoy! x
- 120g dark chocolate
- 120g butter
- 150g caster sugar
- 80g cocoa powder
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Preheat the oven to 150C/300F/Gas 2. Grease an 20cm round cake tin, and dust with cocoa powder.
- In the top of a double boiler over lightly simmering water, melt together the chocolate and butter. Remove from the heat, and stir in sugar, cocoa powder, eggs and vanilla. Pour into prepared cake tin.
- Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes. Once baked, let cool in tin for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and allow cool completely.
